Cottage Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 Tbs garlic, minced
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 2 Tbs all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef stock
- 0.5 cup ketchup
- 1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cup mashed potatoes
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
1. Prepare the mashed potatoes (packaged or fresh).
2. Brown the beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add garlic, salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add flour and cook, sitrring, for 1 minute. Add beef stock and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until mixture thickens (about 3 minutes). Stir in ketchup and Worchestershire sauce and return to a boil.
4. Pour mixture into pie plate. Spoon out mashed potatoes on top. Bake in a preheated oven until mixture is hot and bubbling, about 10 minutes.
